Welcome! I’m Nadine!
Hello, Kia Ora, welcome to New Zealand With Me.
Born and raised in New Zealand, I’ve been fortunate to call many parts of this incredible country home. My journey began in Dunedin, shifted to Gisborne during my teenage years, and then to Auckland where I started my career. Later, I settled in Hamilton, where we raised our young son. These days, we’re hanging out beachside in beautiful Taranaki, where I share a home with my husband, our tweenager, a lovable Golden Retriever, and two charming British Shorthair cats.
Along the way, I’ve embraced adventures beyond New Zealand’s shores. I spent a brief stint in Melbourne, a year soaking up life in London, and recently returned from eight adventure-filled years in France. You can read all about those experiences on my Europe-focused travel blog, Le Long Weekend.
Travel has always been a passion, and now that I’m back in Aotearoa, I’m thrilled to rediscover my homeland with fresh eyes!
Nature-led Travel Stories
Nature has always been at the heart of who I am. Whether it’s hiking a new trail to a breathtaking view, or plunging into untamed waters for a wild swim, I feel most alive when immersed in the outdoors.
This connection extends to my love of photography, where I try to capture the beauty of the natural world. It’s my way of preserving these moments and sharing their beauty with you.
Wildlife, in particular, holds a special place in my heart. From spotting birds in their natural habitats to marvelling at the small wonders around me, these experiences inspire a deep appreciation for our fragile ecosystems and the need to protect them.
